How To Participate

As educational partners to Conservation International, we provide you with the chance to teach your students about rainforests and related ecosystems while empowering them to save them. If you sponsor our Protect An Acre project at your school, we will send you our free Rainforest Rescue Kit which includes DVD's and K-12 curriculum to teach your students about our project site in the Brazilian Amazon. Once they see the wonders of the Amazon on the site DVD and learn about its importance, we are sure they will be inspired to want to help us protect it. Conservation International is working with the government of Brazil to increase the number of protected acres in the Brazilian Amazon. By ordering from our line of t-shirts and other products your school can adopt acres in the Amazon this school year! Every 10 items ordered adopts one acre! When you're finished, you'll receive an official acreage certificate showing how many acres your school saved. You and your school are also eligible for rewards based on the number of acres you save. 2. Next, Use your Rainforest Rescue Kit to teach and excite your students
   Contains:
   

   Curriculum CD that includes maps and lessons for the classroom (PreK-12). Site DVD's: Conservation International's rainforest conservation video that details our 2009-20010 site in the Brazilian Amazon. Your students get to see footage of the site they will be saving and its inhabitants. They will also learn how Conservation International is saving the Brazilian Amazon. Posters of the t-shirt designs to hang around the school to promote the project. Everything you need (sample T's, order forms, instructions, catalogs, etc.) to conduct a Rainforest Protect-An-Acre Campaign in your school. Catalogs that you pass out to the students have a parent letter explaining the project up front and interesting facts about the animals and themes featured on the t-shirts throughout.

3. Then, Set Your Goals and SELL SELL SELL! Every 10 items sold protects one entire acre of critically endangered rainforest.
